Send OneNote Notes with Outlook (Outlook 2007)
It takes only a few steps to send OneNote notes with Outlook. The messages are automatically created with the note pages visible in the body of the message, and copies of them in OneNote format attached to the message.
Note: As you will see, Outlook works mostly in the background when you do this. Still, it is Outlook 2007 that does the work of sending the messages, even if they don't appear in a standard Outlook message window. To e-mail OneNote notes using Outlook, follow these steps: - In OneNote, select the note page or pages you want to send.
- On the Standard toolbar, click E-mail. This transforms the OneNote window into a Message window with the Subject and Body fields of the message filled.
Note: You can also use the OneNote CTRL+SHIFT+E keyboard shortcut to cause this transformation.
- Fill in any additional information that is necessary for your message. If you want to include some text that isn't part of the notes you are sending, enter that information into the Introduction field.
- Click Send a Copy to send the message. The OneNote window returns to its normal state.
That's it. Nice and easy.
