Preview PDF Files in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 Free of ChargeOutlook 2007 provides you with the power to preview email attachments right inside the Reading Pane. The only problem is, you can't preview PDF documents with it. Or more accurately, you can't until you set up Outlook to take advantage of the free PDF previewer that's built into current versions of Adobe Reader. Adobe Reader (which is also frequently referred to as Acrobat Reader) is a free program from Adobe meant for viewing PDF documents. As its name implies, it is just for viewing (reading) these documents, not for generating them. If you get PDF documents as email attachments, chances are that you are used to saving them, then opening them in a different program to view them. In most cases, the program you are using to inspect them is Adobe Reader. When you configure Outlook to use the PDF previewer, you take advantage of the same technology, but this time you don't have to go outside of Outlook to do the preview. Previewing attached PDF documents without having to leave Outlook can save you a bit of time and energy each time around. Setting this up isn't hard. All you need to do is download the current version of Adobe Reader, install it, then configure Outlook 2007 to use it. In most cases, it will only take you a few minutes to finish the entire process. Even if you don't normally make changes to the software running on your computer, if you can follow simple directions, you can certainy do this yourself. The time and hassle you'll save in the future make the minimal effort required well worth it.
